Winter Gifts Day 84
It was a slow-moving day, but I managed to move myself out the door and into the last crazy-early-spring day to enjoy the warmth before winter comes back tomorrow.

It was noisy outside this morning! Geese, sandhill cranes, chickadees, woodpeckers, and so many more. And the mud was really pretty.

Winter Gifts Day 82
About the only thing that can get me outside on a chilly, rainy day is the sight of birds getting more active as winter starts to fade away. Today there was a large rafter of wild turkeys on the mushy frozen lake. The camera focused on the trees instead of the birds, but you get the idea. The photos only show about half the number of turkeys that were there.

Such a sleepy day with a mild flare-up of shingles, but I saw great friends at church and brunch, took a long nap, and then made it outside to wander and enjoy the beauty! My shadows have been so quiet lately and for that I am grateful.

It's February and I was outside barefoot! And my feet got a little cold, but not frozen. Hurray!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a walk and I'm so thankful for a friend who came to walk with me. We were so busy talking, I forgot to take a photo.
