The End Is Coming

After November 15, I am going back to color photography. I just can't stand doing black and white for the whole winter because I need to find spots of color to get through the winter. This has been a fun exercise and I realized I have a lot to learn about seeing and shooting in black and white.

November 12--I forgot to take a photo when I was outside earlier in the day so this one was shot quickly as I was leaving at night. Therefore, unfocused.

Once-a-Day Winter in Black and White

Last winter I didn't make myself go outside every day. That was a mistake. I know getting outside helps me and my shadows get through winter, and last year winter was tough. This year I will go outside every day and take a photo. I am experimenting with black and white, hoping to learn something new as I take my shadows for a walk and look for the joys of winter.

Enjoying Fall

I have decided to try to enjoy all the beauty of fall--my favorite season--and not think about the approach of winter. Today was a beautiful day for a paddleboat ride around the lake and a walk among the flowers!

End of summer shots

I've been outside, but haven't been posting lately. Here are some shots from the last several days. It has been a beautiful end to the summer!
